Numero 10 è la creatura nata dall’ingegno di Alberto “Mondo” Mondini, artigiano da 40 anni nel settore della moda e della pelle. La vocazione di Mondo per la pelle gli proviene dalla tradizione famigliare e si è tradotta in un metodo di lavoro che recupera al 100% l’artigianalità storica italiana per la realizzazione di prodotti innovativi e funzionali ma attraenti e con il fascino dei fuoriclasse.
L’idea è venuta nel corso di una conversazione con un’amica stilista esperta di streetware, Valeria Monzeglio. Fondamentale l’incontro con la figura avventurosa e affascinante del padre, il leggendario aviatore ticinese Ettore Monzeglio e con le borse dell’aviazione elvetica.

Numero 10 is the creation of Alberto “Mondo” Mondini, a craftsman who has been working as a top notch artisan with his hands and cleverness in the leather, and the fashion world as a whole, for more than 40 years.
His endless dedication and his passion for leather is the consequence of an honored and faithful tradition that has fulfilled Mondo’s life over generations. When this genetic heritage knocked his turn, it just translated into a severe handicraft method that yearned to explore the roots of this technique, and go back to basics to a 100% Italian honesty and discipline of working and developing breakthrough pieces, state-of-the-art items that entail “out-of-the-box” design and outstanding capacity to be functional.
Any casual event, just like the meeting with streetwear “guru” Valeria Monzeglio, became a brainstorming for Mondo and for this line of items of Numero 10. Nonetheless, it was the admiration towards Valeria Monzeglio’s father, aviator Ettore Monzeglio, who was well known for being a forerunner in about everything he did, and the awe for those Swiss aviation quality bags.
